This catalogue was published to accompany the special display Andrew Green: Rural Italian Towns and Villages + the Spaces in Between, held at the Estorick Collection in 2022.

On the top floor of the museum, photographer Andrew Green presents his evocative images focusing on small towns in Umbria and Lazio. These quiet, anonymous, often deserted places might appear unexceptional, yet they have a poetry of their own to which some of the artists in the Estorick Collection – Giorgio Morandi, Ottone Rosai and Giorgio de Chirico – have also responded.

The catalogue includes all the works featured in the special display, a foreword by Assistant Curator Christopher Adams and an introduction by Andrew Green.
